Finding the right property

Once you have found the right property, register your interest with Watson Property.

Please complete the below form in order to register with us as a bidder and to make your initial offer. You do not need to fill in this form again for any follow up offers you may make for the same property.

Making an Offer

You may not be the only person interested in your chosen property, and you have to be ready to move quickly as this is an 'auction' and you need to be aware of being outpaced or outbid.

This is why you must act early and have already taken professional financial advice. Talk to us if you have not yet spoken to a mortgage advisor.

Sale Agreed

If you are lucky enough to have your offer accepted, you need to provide us with your solicitor details immediately, so you need to find a solicitor early in the process.

Your solicitor and the solicitor acting for the vendor of the property, will carry out a process of legal conveyancing, culminating in the transfer of property ownership from the vendor to you, known as the completion of sale.

It is important that the legal conveyancing starts as soon as the sale is agreed and that any mortgage or buildings surveys are carried out within the first few weeks.

Sales Completion

The completion date is something both the vendor and purchaser's solicitors will agree upon in conjunction with their respective clients.

The completion date is moving day, the day the keys and purchase monies are exchanged, and occurs within days of the sales contract being signed by both sides.

On completion day, you will be asked to collect keys from our office during office hours and once we have official instructions from the vendor's solicitor.
